I Love U but I Hate U

Salam,
I love U but I hate U. What does it mean? To love and hate a person at the same time. How to love a person because of Allah S.W.T? Suddenly, I remember what my Ustaz used to say in Basic Themes of Al-Quran class during my time in CFS. To love a person because of Allah is because that person is obeying Allah's order and leaving what He ordered us to leave. Sebagai contoh, kita sangat menyayangi kawan kita tetapi kita membencinya akibat perbuatannnya yang telah melanggar perintah Allah. To love a person does not mean we have to accept everything they do walaupun perkara tu sebenarnya salah disisi Allah. As what my friend used to mention in her blog, persahabatan yang dibina atas dasar kasih sayang kerana Allah itu jauh lebih manis dan bermakna.

English for Academic Purposes (EAP)

As I mentioned in previous posts, I have done my EAP in the first semester in CFS. So, some of my friends asked me about this subject. First of all, you have to prepare a powerpoint presentation which gives a glimpse on your title. The title that you'll choose must be relevant to the course that you are taking. As an example,one of my friends who is studying Medicine chose Lasik Surgery as the title of her term paper. The powerpoint presentation must include introduction, current issue, refutation, counterargument and conclusion. Not to forget you have to include the references. You will learn how to do quotations in the class. Besides, you are also required to send your research outline. The research outline costs 10% of your marks. The research outline is just like your powerpoint presentation. There will be no mid-semester exam for EAP. Your term paper worth 30% of your marks. You will have final examination based on what you have studied in class such as long and short quotations, paraphrasing, synthesising and summary. Furthermore, you will have a final powerpoint presentation which will costs you lots of marks ( I don't remember how much it costs..hehe..). That is what I'm able to share. If you have some more doubts, you may call or text me. I'll try my best to answer your questions.
To my friends who are taking EAP in Kuantan, I'm not sure if the format is the same. You may refer to the English Department's lecturers.

My best friend is coming home

It has been a year since I met my best friend. Currently, she is in Egypt, studying Medicine. Eventhough we are far apart from each other, we always keep in touch. Some info about my best friend. We have met each other since we were babies because our mothers are friends since they were studying in UiTM. However, we get closer when we were in form 2 as we were in the same class. Honestly, at first I thought that she is a person who is hard to approach and unfriendly. She had the same impression about myself.hehe.However, as I get to know her better, I found that she is an honest, loyal and sensitive person. She kinda shy and don't know what she supposed to say when she meets new people. I have the same problem before.hehe. We share the same interest and at the same time we have different opinions in matters. She loves comics and mangas while I don't. She loves Japanese boy bands while I prefer Koreans. We laugh together and we cry together. I am very grateful that I have a friend who understands me and being supportive all the time. Really miss our time together. Whenever I heard this song, it reminds me of my friends.

Kehilanganmu..

Salam, just came back from my aunt's house in Penang. There was a kenduri. We were so busy. However, I took it as a chance of getting new experience and to reflect myself. Few days ago, I received the news of the death of one of my friend. She was one of the MRC members. She used to give me advices on what course that I should take in Kuantan. This is what we called as 'ajal'. She was supposed to register in Kuantan this July. Her lost caused lots of tears but not mine. I don't know why. Maybe I already prepared as I heard she was critically injured in an accident. Maybe deep down inside I knew that she will be happier in the next world. Sometimes, I do feel like I have a cold heart as I won't cry easily. However, I know that her death would leave a trace in my heart. She will always be remembered. Her smile..how can I forget those sincere smiles and laughters that we shared together during our short period of being together. Kak Atim, walaupun terlewat air mata ini menitis kerana pemergianmu, InsyaAllah segala mutiara kata yang akak pernah taburkan untuk diri ini akan kukenang selamanya. Semoga akak tenang di sana, di bawah lindungan rahmatNya. Al- Fatihah.

Selamat Pengantin Baru

Wanna wish Happy Newly Weds to my cousin. Barakallahulakuma fil khair. My whole family just recovered so we were not able to attend his Akad Nikah in Negeri Sembilan yesterday. My father as the head of the family represents us to the ceremony. Today is the kenduri day. Hope everything goes well.
I am going to Kuantan in just a few weeks. Feeling nervous to be in a new place. A lot of new experience awaits me there. Really hope that I can get myself used to the new environment. I heard that in the mahallah, 4 students will live in a room. However, everyone has their own private compartment. I am relieved because I love privacy so much. I really hate it if someone were there when I'm trying to focus in my study.

FEVER

It has been a week of sickness..can't sleep well..the whole famiy had fever..never had this bad before since our chickenpox's history..huhu..it's like we all share the pain..hehe..sihat bersama, sakit pun bersama gak ar..hehe...still coughing right now and my nose is still running..tp klu hidung lari mesti buruk bebenor kan rupa..hehe..

What happened lately..

Salam,
Currently, there are a lot of things happened. Among them is about Rachel Corrie, another ship that was sent to Gaza. May Allah protect them and the Palestinians. I was touched when I saw people all over the world were united to go against the regime's action. While, the crimes that happened in our country are getting worse day by day. The action of burying innocent babies reminds me of what the people of the time of Jahiliah would do. News on people killed cruelly has become a common news.Are we going backwards instead of improving ourselves to become a better person?

Couple??

Salam,
When I was in CFS, I met a lot of people from different backgrounds and understandings in matters. Some of my friends used to ask me questions regarding ibadah and so on.
