Novels?

Salam, just came back from PJ.As i mentioned in the previous post, on the 24th i had my writing, reading and listening test. I think that i have done the best that i could. Hope can do better in the speaking test.I really thought that the listening test is easy..hehe..don't take things for granted..the last part is quite challenging as you ought to have a great listening skill. As for the writing test, i did not manage to check my essay as the time did not allow me to do so. I hope i did well.

Enough about muet.hmm..now i'm reading Rooftop Rant by Hlovate. He/She is my favourite author. I'm not a fan of malay novels. However, Hlovate's piece of work really change my perception. I started by reading Schubert Serenade and after a while I can't just stop myself from reading more and more.Among his/her work that i've read are 5 Tahun 5 Bulan and Tunas. The author did not just focus on the story of a teenage love but also educating the readers by giving some Quranic verses that can be related to the story. Really enjoy it.I also read novels written by an Indonesian author, Habiburrahman El-Shirazy.

Dah dekat...

Salam,
Apa yang dekat?Ada yang akan jawab "yang dekat itu mati". That's true but the thing that i wanna mention is my MUET. It's coming. This Saturday, I will sat for my reading, listening and writing test. Quite worried. But the most terrifying is the speking test which will be held on 5th May..worry..what to say..my ulcer is recovering..i always have mouth ulcer but this time it is quite worrying because it affect my speech and I am afraid that it will affect my performance in the speaking test. However, Alhamdulillah it starts to recover.
As i am not using english much in my daily life, i am not so confident to speak in English.I am really worried. In my first semester in CFS, i have finished my EAP ( English for Academic Purposes) and my result is the worst in my academic history.huhu.still regretting it. I do think my title is not strong enough and my points are not convincing enough. My presentation was not good enough. So. to my friends who are going to sat for their EAP, wish the best of luck to you guys..Please do not rush in making decisions about your title. Make sure that you have a lot of points that are supporting and convincing..make sure that you are well- prepared.or you will regret it.believe me,i know how it feels like.

Something to share

"Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not."
Al Baqarah verse 216

I don't know why. I just get attracted by this verse and feel like wanna share something. I also love a saying which I heard a few years ago. The moment I heard it, it captures my heart.

The saying goes,
" Janganlah kamu membenci seseorang sehingga kamu tidak nampak akan kebaikannya. Dan janganlah kamu menyukai seseorang sehingga kamu tidak nampak akan keburukannya"
